Cherry Ginger Smoothie
This Cherry Ginger Smoothie is a great mix of sweet and sour tastes, with a touch of heat from the fresh ginger. It's a great way to start the day or feel better after a workout.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 1 banana
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes optional
Instructions:
In a blender, mix the frozen cherries, banana, almond milk, grated ginger, honey or maple syrup, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract
Mix until it's creamy and smooth
If the smoothie is too thick, add a few ice cubes and blend it again until it does not get too thick
Place the cherry ginger smoothie in a glass and serve right away
