Make-Ahead Smoothie Bags for the Freezer
Prepare these make-ahead smoothie bags for the freezer to have a convenient and healthy breakfast or snack option. With a blend of berries, greens, yogurt, and honey, these smoothies are packed with nutrients and flavor.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups of spinach leaves
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions:
Take off the stems and hulls of the berries to wash and prepare them
Put the mixed berries, banana slices, spinach leaves, Greek yogurt, honey, almond milk, chia seeds, and vanilla extract in a blender bottle
Mix everything together until it's smooth
Put the smoothie mix into separate freezer bags that can be closed again and again
Get rid of any extra air, seal the bags well, and write the date and what's inside on the labels
If you freeze the bags, you can keep them for up to three months
Just take a bag out of the freezer, let it thaw for a few minutes, and then blend it until it's smooth
If you need to, add more almond milk to get the consistency you want
