Gluten-Free Grilled Turkey Burgers

Instead of beef burgers, try these gluten-free grilled turkey burgers instead. They taste great and are good for you. They are full of vegetables and perfectly seasoned, making them great for people who are sensitive to gluten or just want a tasty burger option.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup grated zucchini
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Gluten-free burger buns for serving
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings of your choice
  • Gluten-free condiments such as ketchup and mustard

Instructions:

Ground turkey, chopped onion, grated zucchini, grated carrot, fresh parsley, gluten-free breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese if using, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a large bowl

Make sure that everything is well mixed

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Set your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to keep food from sticking

I put the turkey burger patties on the grill and cooked them for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reached 165F 74C and the middle was no longer pink

For a minute or two, toast the gluten-free burger buns on the grill until they get a little brown

To make your gluten-free turkey burgers, put a patty on the bottom half of each bun and top with lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings you like

Cover the top half of the buns with gluten-free sauces, then put them on top of the burgers that have been put together

Enjoy your tasty grilled turkey burgers that are free of gluten right away
