Keto Shredded Brussel Sprouts with Bacon
This Keto-friendly recipe makes a tasty side dish with crispy bacon and shredded brussel sprouts that taste nutty. It's quick and easy to make, so it's great for busy weeknights or to add some flavor to your holiday table.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups Brussel sprouts, shredded
- 6 slices bacon, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions:
In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy
Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet
Add minced garlic to the skillet and saut for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
Add shredded Brussel sprouts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften
Drizzle olive oil over the Brussel sprouts and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until they are tender and slightly caramelized
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Sprinkle the cooked bacon pieces over the top
Optional: Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese before serving
