Mexican Taco Pinwheels



Mexican Taco Pinwheels are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that's perfect for parties and gatherings. These pinwheels are filled with creamy, seasoned goodness and packed with flavorful toppings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeos optional for spice
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning mix

Mix until well blended

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each flour tortilla

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, green onions, black olives, and jalapeos if using evenly over the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla

Roll up each tortilla tightly and wrap them in plastic wrap

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the pinwheels to set

Before serving, remove the plastic wrap and slice each tortilla roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels

Arrange the Mexican Taco Pinwheels on a serving platter over a bed of shredded lettuce

Serve as an appetizer or party snack
