Perfect Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C
Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and set aside
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in 30-second intervals until fully melted
Stir in the sugar until well combined with the melted butter
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
Mix in the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth
Fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined, and then gently stir in the chocolate chips
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs
Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares
