Giant Sprinkle Filled Chocolate Chip Cookie
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sprinkles
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325F 165C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt
In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined
Add the vanilla extract, egg, and egg yolk to the butter-sugar mixture, and mix until smooth
Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined
Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles
Form a large dough ball and place it onto the prepared baking sheet
Flatten the dough slightly to form a thick, round cookie shape
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown
Remove from the oven and let the cookie cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes
Carefully transfer the giant cookie to a wire rack to cool completely
Slice and serve the cookie, and enjoy!
