Tortas Hamburguesas



Tortas Hamburguesas are a tasty Mexican take on regular hamburgers. The tasty beef patties are seasoned with paprika and cumin, and they come on a soft bun with fresh toppings and sauces.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup

Instructions:

Put the breadcrumbs, chopped cilantro, cumin powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Add the ground beef and mix them together

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Warm up a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat

Cook the burger patties for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them

Add a slice of cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking and let it melt

You can grill or toast the hamburger buns until they are just barely browned

Put a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom bun of each burger

Then add a burger patty with melted cheese, pickles, and a drizzle of ketchup and mayonnaise

The Tortas Hamburguesas are now ready to be served! Just put the other half of the bun on top
